Egg Pie

If you are a fan of Leche Flan, you will like this egg pie. I like Lechen Flan too but it is too sweet for me. I like this pie better so I like to share with you too the recipe which is less in sugar than the regular egg pie recipe. I would like to thank my friend Florian for sharing this recipe. Enjoy then. 1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
7 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsps vanilla
2 ready-made pie crust

Heat oven; 350 deg. Mix all ingredients until blended, except the pie crust . Pour on each pie crust and bake for 45 minutes.

Thank you for your filling recipe. It's good. I have one suggestion,though. To obtain a smooth surface, try spreading a clean table napkin on the surface of the uncooked filling. Allow the table napkin to get wet in order to remove the bubbles in the surface then remove gently :).

In order to achieve a smooth surface, spread a clean table napkin on the surface of the uncooked filing just before baking to remove bubbles. When the table napkin gets wet and completely covered the surface, remove gently then bake.
