Italian Culinary Weekend at Branson
Before I got pregnant, I really wanted to go somewhere and have a nice vacation with my husband. It has been a while when we took some days off from work and enjoy what life can offer. We did travel somewhere but not too far because I got pregnant with my little angel. It might be too late for me as of now because I work as a devoted full-time mother now. I am still blogging though to share my recipes and updates here. But I wish to go somewhere that I can enjoy as a mother and food-lover. The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel in Branson, Missouri would be a perfect destination for me especially that they have this Italian Culinary Weekend activity this February 26th through Saturday, February 27th. I would love to learn Italian Culinary. I heard that the weekend will kick off Friday evening with a reception featuring antipasto and hors d’oeuvres paired with great Italian wines. On Saturday, participants will experience a hands-on cooking demonstration highlighting some of the items from Friday’s evening reception in addition to some of the menu items featured in the 5-course meal served Saturday evening. It sounds good isn't it? If I have the time and the money, I would surely love to go. If you are interested too, you may check their package costs. These are based on double occupancy and start at $429.00 (excluding tax and gratuity) for two people. It includes deluxe king or double queen accommodations Friday and Saturday night, Friday evening reception, Saturday cooking school, Saturday evening five-course dinner, and a goodie bag filled with items for the home chef. Reservations must be made prior to February 23, 2010. And when you are there, you can do a lot of stuff aside from enjoying the culinary weekend activity. There are a lot of things going on there that will surely make your stay memorable. By day, entertain yourself with light displays, shows, parades, and the old time charm of Branson. By night, retire in the luxury and elegance of the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Indeed, the hotel is situated within the electrifying entertainment capital of the Midwest, offering guests access to shops, boutiques, restaurants, a river walk and other attractions. The hotel is within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums, theme parks and 49 live entertainment theaters. You don't want to miss any of these so you will have a good time for sure. Now I am really envious.
