Fried Rice and Tocino

Tocino is like our Filipino bacon. It's made of pork and some sweet seasoning on it. I like it better than the bacon and eat it with rice. It's just that my tongue is already used to Filipino food. I grew up with it so it's really good to me. We Filipinos love it. It's surprising that my husband likes it too. He ate it with the fried rice I cooked one morning. It's a quick fried rice recipe with just eggs, soy sauce and fried rice seasoning on it (Sun-Bird Fried Rice Seasoning Mix which I bought at Von's). I didn't even put peas and meat on it since we had the tocino and some sausages I prepared that morning. It was really good and it did fill me up. What a good breakfast! Check out my fried rice recipe on my blog. Just search for it here or click Rice label. As for the tocino, I only use pork chops which I sliced by 1/4 inch and marinated it with Mama Sita's Tocino Mix which I got from the Filipino store .
