Mung Beans with ham slices, anyone? Filipinos call it monggo and in our dialect, it's monggos. We usually like to cook it with coconut milk and that makes it more creamy. I cooked that way and added some ham slices. Also, I cook it sometimes with chicken meat and our favorite, with dried fish or smoked fish (tinapa). We eat it with steamed rice then. But I like it topped with chili paste. I was inspired by the Korean dramas whose characters always put chili paste or sauce on their bowl of food. They mix it and it looks so good! Well, I really like it too with the chili. Yay!
